    Turkey added 347,397 active beds (+25%) — 57 million extra capacity nights. Guest nights grew by only 14 million: a Supply Pressure Index of 24.5%. Three-quarters of the new capacity stayed empty, driving price competition.

    Nominal revenue per guest night rose 0.7%, from $69.66 to $70.14. Adjusted for inflation and local costs it fell 23.5% from $91.67 — by 25.6% in Istanbul and 8.0% in Antalya.

    Hotel lodging turnover rose 31.6% to ₺287.3 billion, and 10.7% to $6.4 billion. With operating costs up 65% against an 18.9% rise in the exchange rate, real dollar turnover fell 16.1%.

    Nevşehir recorded fewer than 500 foreign border arrivals, yet over 250,000 tourists stayed there for more than 500,000 nights. Edirne took 9.3% of Turkey's border entries but only 0.5% of licensed tourist nights.
